On the morning of October 27th, 2020, the signing ceremony of " Peng Huanwu Science and Education Cooperation Center" jointly built by Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chongqing University was held in LA101, Department of Science, Huxi Campus, Chongqing University. Officials from Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, including Cai Ronggen, Director, Zhang Zhaoxi, Academician, Feng Ji, Secretary (Deputy Director), and Guo Shuting, Director of Personnel and Education Division, and from Chongqing University, including Xia Zhining, Assistant to the President, Hu Youqiang, Director of Office of Domestic Collaboration and Office of Alumni Affairs, Han Zhong, Party Committee Secretary of College of Physics, Wu Xinggang, President of College of Physics, and other leaders of College of Physics attended the ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Han Zhong.
Witnessed by the ceremony participants, on behalf of Chongqing University and Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xia Zhining and Feng Ji signed the agreement and Cai Ronggen unveiled the nameplate of "Peng Huanwu Science and Education Cooperation Center". Relying on the "Peng Huanwu Science and Education Cooperation Center", both sides will fully utilize their respective resource advantages, strengthen cooperation and exchanges, achieve the effective integration of science and education, and establish a comprehensive, wide-ranging and multi-level cooperative relationship.
