报告摘要:In this talk, I will talk about our recent research on charge density wave (CDW) orders of different kagome metals. Because of the characteristic Fermi surface (FS) of a kagome lattice, FS nesting is believed to be closely related to CDWs in kagome materials. First, we predict the ground state CDW structure for kagome metals AV3Sb5 (A=K, Rb, Cs) and show that both the FS nesting and electron-phonon coupling contribute to the CDW formation. Then we predict totally different CDW structures for kagome metal ScV6Sn6, and find that the FS nesting contributes little to CDW formation, despite similarities of its band structure to that of AV3Sb5. These results constitute two typical bulk CDW models and mechanisms, and indicate that the importance of the FS nesting for the CDW transition is a case-by-case problem. At last, I will report our newest results about surface charge orders on surfaces of kagome metals RV6Sn6 (R=Y, rare earth) where the bulk CDW is absent.
