Brief Bio.
Born in 1980 in Chengdu, China, he received his B.S. degree in Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, and his Ph.D. degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. He joined the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a Distinguished Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor in 2012, and became a Professor in the School of Physics, Chongqing University in 2015.

Research interests:
1. cancer biophysics: exploration of new approaches to cancer therapy based on altering the tumor microenvironment.
2. research and application of microfluidic organoid chips.
3. Self-organizing robot clusters, research on the emergent mechanism of self-organizing cluster behavior.
