报告摘要:After the pivotal Higgs boson discovery, understanding its properties is essential for the Standard Model and EW symmetry breaking. Examining Higgs pair production, especially through the Higgs trilinear coupling, deepens our insight. In this talk, we'll discuss NLO EW corrections for double Higgs production via the LHC's main gluon-gluon fusion channel. Our findings reduce uncertainties in this key process. Comparing our predictions with experiments can either bolster the Standard Model or highlight deviations suggesting new physics.
报告人介绍:余怀敏,北京大学物理学院2021级在读博士,2021年于重庆大学获得硕士学位。主要研究领域为粒子物理,主要研究方向为LHC上Higgs玻色子产生过程的高阶微扰修正。
