报告摘要:The Energy-Energy Correlator is an observable that explores the angular correlations of energy depositions in detectors at high-energy collider facilities. It has been extensively studied in the context of precision QCD. In this presentation, I will discuss our recent work on the energy-energy correlator in the context of Deep Inelastic Scattering. In the limit where the energy emissions are back-to-back, the proposed observable is sensitive to the universal transverse momentum-dependent parton distribution functions and fragmentation functions. In the collinear limit, a definition of the nuclear energy-energy correlator was introduced. We would revisit the NEEC definition, which involves weighting the EEC by Bjorken x, and conducting the study across the entire phase space region.
报告人介绍:李海涛,山东大学物理学院教授,2015年博士毕业于北京大学,毕业后前往澳大利亚莫纳什大学,美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室,美国西北大学/阿贡国家实验室从事博士后研究,2021年入职山东大学物理学院。科研主要研究方向为微扰量子色动力学和对撞机唯象学,包括对基本粒子在对撞机上产生截面的精确理论预言,以及模拟对撞机上信号和背景的事例生成器。 迄今在国际一流学术期刊如Phys.Rev.Lett.,JHEP, Phys.Rev.D,Phys.Lett.B 等,发表学术论文40余篇。
