报告摘要:Spatial dimensionality of systems and energy dispersion of carriers play a central role in determining most kinds of physical properties. In this talk, I will discuss the effects of spatial dimensionality and energy dispersion on the longitudinal optical conductivities (LOCs) in Dirac materials, including different band tiltings (untilted, type-I, type-II, and type-III), different doping cases (undoped and doped), different kinds of model Hamiltonian (low-energy effective and tight-binding), and different spatial dimensionality (one-, two-, three-, and arbitrary-dimensional). Especially, we find a recurrence relation between the LOCs and the joint density of state in arbitrary spatial dimension. In addition, we report a fixed point robust against both band tilting and spatial dimensionality, and universal for energy dispersions. The results are expected to be qualitatively valid for a great number of Dirac materials due to the underlying similarities of Dirac energy dispersions.
报告人介绍:张浩然,四川师范大学物理系副教授。他于2012年在中国科学技术大学理论物理专业获博士学位,随即加入四川师范大学物理系,2017年-2018年在加拿大McGill大学物理系做访问教授。他的研究兴趣集中在拓扑材料中的集体激发、光电响应、磁性相互作用等凝聚态物理问题和Higgs衰变、单圈费曼图约化方法等粒子物理/量子场论问题。
