报告摘要:In this talk, I will motivate the usage of numerical relativity as a powerful tool to study fundamental physics and cosmology. I will review the current state-of-the-art and some of its applications. In the second part of the talk, I will focus on investigations of inflationary cosmology. We will tackle the question of the initial conditions during inhomogeneous pre-inflation, as well as the reheating phase after inflation ends. To finalize, I will briefly motivate our ongoing investigations on the early formation of exotic compact objects, including primordial black holes, and their distinguished signatures.
