Hengyu Guo

Dr. Hengyu Guo graduated from Chongqing University and received his PhD and postdoctoral training from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on nanoelectricity generation technology for environmental micro and nano force conversion, and he has achieved a series of innovative research results in the physical theory of its basic devices, key materials, energy management, self-driven sensing, etc., and promoted the progress of related fields. He has published more than 130 SCI papers in Sci. Robot., Sci. Adv., Nat. Sustain., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater. The research results have been reported by Xinhua News Agency, Asian Scientist and many other mainstream media at home and abroad. After returning to China in 2020, Dr. Heng-Yu Guo, based on his previous research in the field of environmental micro and nano power conversion, intends to carry out research on the basic scientific problems and industrial development of self-powered wireless sensing system based on nano power generation technology, in view of the lack of high-precision sensor technology and the difficulty of maintenance and sustainable energy supply of sensing nodes in the domestic IOT sensing field. We hope to provide effective technical solutions to the problem of the neck in the development of IoT sensing in China.
