白杨，2002年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学；2002年至2007年期间在耶鲁大学攻读博士学位；2007-2010年，在Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory担任Research Associate；2010-2012年，在SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory担任Research Associate；2012年至今，在威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校担任Assistant Professor。

报告内容简介：

The recent hints of a 750 GeV diphoton resonance from the LHC suggest a new strong dynamics. The story is very similar to the existing quantum chromodynamics (QCD) thatis responsible for around 95% of ordinary matter mass. I will discuss the potential dark matter candidates and other predicted color-octet heavy pions to be discovered shortly at

the LHC.
